I’ve worked with Karen for a good few years now. She is a highly organised and highly skilled colleague who also has a secret weapon – namely that she has the ability to get on with everyone and anyone and win them over. Her exceptional personal charisma is a real asset in any role that requires interaction with key stakeholders or members of the public. Beyond her people skills, she is a truly great project manager. Whether it’s working out the best structure for a project, presenting project aims, methods, risks and timelines to colleagues, keeping a project to budget, making everyone involved in a project feel informed and engaged, delivering well run and entertaining events related to the project and then making sure that the outcomes of the project are followed through and properly reported, Karen is a one stop shop when it comes to driving things through. She is wonderfully self motivated so that once you agree the parameters she will get on and
deliver it, referring back only when need be. It’s rare to be able to have that level of confidence in someone to deliver something both sympathetically and intelligently and with a minimum of fuss, side or intervention.

Where to start with Karen? She is one of the most truly enthusiastic and wonderful people I've ever worked with. She only came to the Sport team for a short period but she made a huge impact during that time and we would welcome her back in a heartbeat if the opportunity were available.
Nothing is ever too much to ask and Karen would put her all into anything she does no matter how big or small. She is wonderfully proactive, more so than anyone I've worked with, and always has a huge smile on her face which is contagious.
